Assoc Professor Lee-Yong Lim

BSc(Pharm)Hons, PhD

Expertise

Nanoparticles for drug and gene delivery; nanoparticles for targeted delivery of anticancer agents; nanotoxicity in cell systems; biodistribution of nanoparticles.

Contribution to the Centre

To optimise drug bioavailability through nanotechnology; to establish validated protocols for nanotoxicology evaluation.

Current Projects in the Centre

  • Calixarenes as targeted delivery platforms for anticancer agents
  • Improving bioavailablity of drugs with intractable solubility through nanotechnology (with Colin Raston, Swaminathan Iyer)
  • Toxicology of nanoparticles for biomedical application (with Clint Johnson, Wendy Loh, Martin Saunders, Colin Raston)
